Getting creative with Childline posters

I led on the copy and worked on the creative direction for two new Childline posters for secondary schools. We wanted to take these posters in a bold new direction and use it as an opportunity to create brand awareness and reconsideration. We wanted young people to see Childline as cool, relatable - not just an emergency service.

I helped come up with the idea of a journal doodle for one of the posters, reflecting a young person's inner thoughts while also feeling motivational. I also came up with the concept of the words-led poster, using language young people use and pushing the boundaries of language Childline would usually use.

The journal doodle poster was illustrated by Ruby Elliot.
The emotional words poster was illustrated by Andrew Hudson.
