Fixing the error in the law

Using quotes given to me by supporters about why the Online Safety Bill must include an advocate for children's online safety, I worked as copy lead with a designer to create a digital hand-in that went to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

We came up with the concept of using error messages to represent that there was an issue with the Bill that needed to be fixed. We went for this digital look and feel as the law address the online world. This look, feel and messaging appeared on the hand in, as well as a moving digital billboard.

This billboard was not included in the initial brief, but after some interrogation by my team and I, it was decided that we should make more of a moment out of this hand in, so budget and time was freed up to make this moment more of a stunt.
